I’M WITH HER: Biden WH Insists On Using ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ On Official Communications

Is pushing “Jamala” a sign that POTUS “Sleepy Joe” isn’t up for the job?

The majority of Americans are concerned about Biden’s ability to do the job as President.

While previous administrations have sometimes been referred to by the media with both the President and the Vice President, ie. “the Trump-Pence administration” or “the Obama-Biden administration” — the deliberate push to include Vice President Kamala Harris in official communications is a very new thing.

According to OutSpoken, an LGBT news site affiliated with the Log Cabin Republicans, a “top White House Communications team member” sent an email to federal employees that read, “Please be sure to reference the current administration as the ‘Biden-Harris Administration’ in official public communications.” The words “Biden-Harris Administration” were accented in bold in the photo of the redacted email published by OutSpoken.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Yes

The site also noted that this is an “unprecedented” move to “downplay Biden” and elevate Vice President Harris.

Neither of the @WhiteHouse Twitter accounts from the previous two administrations mentioned the vice president in the account’s description. Under the Obama administration, the account description read, “Follow for the latest from President Obama and his administration.”

The Trump White House account description was nearly identical, reading: “Welcome to @WhiteHouse! Follow for the latest from President @realDonaldTrump and his Administration.” Likewise, the archived versions of both accounts on Twitter cite the “Obama Administration” and “Trump Administration,” respectively, with no mention of the vice president.

The highly specific language also appears on the websites of all 15 executive departments. Press releases and other communications from the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Defense, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, Housing and Urban Development, Interior, Labor, State, Transportation, Treasury, and Veterans Affairs, and the Attorney General all exclusively refer to the Biden-Harris Administration, in lieu of only naming the president, which has been customary until now.

As reported by OutSpoken, the White House has already made these changes to the official White House website and Twitter account.

Even the profile of President Biden includes this new norm.

While this could be viewed by many the same-old tired focus on identity politics from the left –elevating the first woman who is also the first “woman of color” to prominence in the administration, this seems much more strategic than that.

President Biden is tripping up stairs, slurring his words, calling “lids” early in the day, forgetting basic facts like the names of officials in the administration, and calling the Pentagon “that outfit over there.” His appearances before the press (when he has them) have been carefully curated and are sometimes quickly cut short by his handlers.

Vice President Kamala Harris, however, started taking solo phone calls with world leaders almost immediately after assuming office. Despite the Left’s caterwauling over the Trump administration “breaking the norms” this really is unprecedented.

“The fact that the White House is instructing federal agencies to replace ‘Biden’ with ‘Biden-Harris’ after less than 60 days is indicative of the struggle Joe Biden is already having being President,” Grenell said. “This is a signal that he can’t do the job alone.”

It’s also really weird since Joe Biden has accidentally referred to Kamala Harris as “President Harris” and before that “President-Elect Harris.” There were also references to the “Harris administration with Joe Biden” and the “Harris-Biden administration” before the election.

Perhaps we shouldn’t be surprised that Vice President Harris is using Joe Biden to further her career, it seems to be sort of a thing with her.

How far does this go? Do we “ship” them as the young folks do and call them “Jamala”, “Joe-mala”, or “Barris”? It would seem the “shipped” term “Hiden” is strangely appropriate.

This normalization of a joint-administration of “President Jamala Biden-Harris” is antithetical to the former Democratic norm set by President Truman who had a sign on his desk that read “The Buck Stops here.”

Apparently, for the “Biden-Harris” administration, the buck stops with the Vice President.

And they say that the Trump administration was “breaking norms.” Oh, puh-leeze!
