A 28 second video posted on X.com garnered quite a bit of attention Saturday evening because it showed surveillance footage of a group of 9 men attacking two NYPD officers at Times Square near a migrant shelter on W 42nd in Manhattan. They were kicked in the head and punched in the body. One officer suffered a facial laceration. Five were arrested quickly, but 4 got away and are being sought by police. The five arrested were released back into the community per New York’s “no bail” policy. Somehow, we think that this has to do with Biden’s screwed up priorities – allowing illegals into the US ahead of the safety of US citizens.

The two officers, one Lieutenant and one regular officer simply asked the migrants to move on after seeing them clustered together just a few steps from the Amsterdam Theater in Times Square (a popular tourist destination). A “scuffle ensued” as officers attempted to subdue a person in a yellow jacket.
“One hooded suspect wearing a backpack can then be seen kicking one of the officers twice in the head as he grapples on the ground, while another suspect in a red top kicks him in the back.
As the struggle ensues, the suspect in the red jacket returns and kicks the other officer in the back.
Another hooded suspect wearing a backpack then arrives on the scene and takes a big swinging kick aimed at one of the officer’s heads. The migrant falls to the ground as he tries to execute the kick.
The suspects are then seen running off. The unidentified officers sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene, police said. One officer sustained cuts to the face while the other had bruising to the body, according to sources.” Michael Dorgan at FOX
According to CBS, the entire group was charged with “assault on a police officer, gang assault, obstructing governmental administration, and disorderly conduct.” At least one of those charges is a felony that is punishable by 7 years in prison.

Keep in mind two things: first, that anyone who beats a police officer is extremely dangerous, and two that the arrest isn’t enough- these suspects were released after being charged. New York is as messed up as the Biden administration – and it’ their own fault: A- no bail policy and B- calling themselves a “sanctuary city.”
At least 100 illegals are suspected of being pickpockets by NYPD according to Fox, and residents in Brooklyn on the Floyd Bennett Field where a huge tent was erected to house migrants claim that the illegals are causing serious crime problems. It’s all about Biden’s screwed up priorities. By now, those who believe that Biden and his cronies actually care about Americans are severely delusional.
