On Friday morning, 30 Democrat members of the House of Representatives led by Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., tried to storm the Department of Education, but were denied entry by a security guard.
According to Fox News:
A man who said he was a federal employee did not make it clear why the lawmakers had not been allowed into the building.
Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fla., asked the man whether he was doing so of his own volition or had been ordered to block the door, to which the man responded that he was doing his job.
As they surrounded the man in front of the door, lawmakers repeatedly insisted that they had the right to enter the building and slammed the Trump administration over a “lack of transparency.”
The Gateway Pundit added:
After officers refused to let them in, Democrats immediately melted down and began bullying the guards. Some also started comparing one security officer defending the building to segregationists blocking black kids from entering schools during the Jim Crow era.
At one point, Waters also asks the guards if they have firearms and would shoot them.

Afterward, Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fl., whined on social media:

This is just more kabuki theater by Democrats. Expect to see a lot more of this as Elon Musk and President Trump work to eliminate the waste in government.
