At a time when the Democrat Party’s popularity is at a record low, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., told reporters that he and his fellow Democrats will “fight” President Trump’s agenda “in the streets.”
“Right now, we’re going to keep focused on the need to look out for everyday New Yorkers and everyday Americans who are under assault by an extreme MAGA Republican agenda that is trying to cut taxes for billionaire donors and wealthy corporations and then stick New Yorkers and working class Americans across the country with the bill,” he said during a press conference on Friday.
“That’s not acceptable. We are going to fight it legislatively. We’re going to going to fight it in the courts, and we’re going to fight it in the streets,” Jeffries added.
Let that sink in: “…we’re going to fight it in the streets.”

The message does not seem to be new, mirroring similar messaging to House Democrats during a House Democratic Caucus virtual emergency meeting this week, discussing ways to oppose Trump’s MAGA agenda.
“House Democrats are now fully engaged. The bell has rung. I think we see this for the constitutional test that it is, and we’re going to be aggressively pushing back,” Rep. Jared Huffman (D-CA) said, according to the Hill.
“Leader Jeffries described it as a legal fight, a legislative fight and a street fight,” he said, adding, “And I couldn’t put it better.”
Democrat Rep. Gerry Connolly of Virginia described the move as a “broad call for action — and a vigorous one.”
Let’s be clear. This is not a call for public discourse or debate. It is a call for violence and perhaps even bloodshed.

The Gateway Pundit noted:
Jeffries’s remarks should not only bring to mind the two assassins last year who tried to take out Trump but also the George Floyd riots back in 2020 during the so-called “Summer of Love.”
These individuals showed “taking to the street” included assaulting cops, burning down businesses, and defacing public monuments.
Moreover, GOP members of Congress were constantly harassed and threatened in public during Trump’s first term by deranged leftists.
One far-left terrorist nearly gunned down approximately 20 GOP congressional members on a baseball field in Alexandria, Virginia that the FBI and media worked to cover up quickly.
It’s one thing to disagree with the President and those who hold to a different political persuasion. It’s another to incite violence, bloodshed, and civil war.
Jeffries and his fellow Democrats are NOT advocating a calm, sensible discussion of public policy. They are advocating bloody civil war. Just as they did during Trump’s first term in office.
This cannot be allowed to stand.
Writing at the Gateway Pundit, Cullen Linebarger correctly concluded: “…God help our country if they take his words literally.”
Exit question: Will the FBI and/or the Secret Service arrest and investigate Jeffries and the other subversive Democrats pushing for violence and bloodshed?
