According to the simple language of the 20th Amendment, a president’s four-year term ends at noon on Jan. 20. That means that on noon Eastern time, the regime of Joe Biden, the lying demented evil fraud installed as “president” after the 2020 “election,” will finally come to a screeching halt and America’s long national nightmare will be over. Thank God!
It also means that after four years of Hell, a REAL president will step up to take the reins and hopefully right the ship of state known as the United States of America.
And so, I thought it appropriate to look back over the last four years to see what we have suffered through in the hope that we will have learned from our mistake.
It was the philosopher George Santayana who once commented that, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” God help us if we forget what America has suffered over the last four years. There is no doubt in my military mind that the United States would not have survived a second Biden term. Nor would it have survived a first Harris term.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Let me state categorically from the beginning that I have never believed Biden was a legitimately-elected “president,” regardless of what anyone might say. That is my opinion based in part on his own words: “Secondly, we’re in a situation where we have put together — and you’d [sic] guys, did it for our, the president Obama’s administration, before this — we have put together, I think, the most extensive and and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.”

Make of that what you will, but I believe that is one of the very few times over the last 50 years Biden has told the truth about anything.
I would also like to state from the very beginning that while I have disagreed with every president from time to time (both Democrats and Republicans), Biden is the first man to hold that title that I have actually hated. Even though I disagreed vehemently with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton, I never once felt the loathing for them that I do Biden.
The same can be said of the recently-deceased Jimmy Carter, who served in the White House while I was in the service. Although I strongly disagreed with his policy positions, at heart, I felt he was basically a decent man. The same cannot be said of Biden.
Of course, I pray for the man’s safety for the sake of his family, and for the sake of the country. I know that if anything bad were to have happened to the man, America would have been plunged into a form of oppressive darkness that would make Nazi Germany look like a walk in the park.
Look at what Biden has done to half of the country. He’s called those who disagree with him “garbage,” “semi-fascists,” “threats to democracy” and more. Again, there is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if he thought he could get away with it, Biden would have incarcerated or even murdered half of the country to eliminate dissent.
Many words have been used to describe Biden: mean, surly, and profane are just a few. And he has allowed those traits to surface more than once:

From my perspective, Biden has always been a snide sarcastic SOB, but it was Charles C.W. Cooke of the National Review who summed him up best. Mincing no words, Cooke called Biden an “asshole.” And he’s right.

He always has been an asshole, and he will always be an asshole. Period. End of sentence.
And his policies reflect that description.
From the very beginning, Biden declared war on the American people by decimating the energy industry. Thanks to Biden’s stroke of a pen, gas prices soared as did the price of goods. When called out on that, he demanded gas station owners lower the price of gas, just like a tinpot dictator.
My message to the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump is simple: this is a time of war and global peril.
Bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you’re paying for the product. And do it now.

Naturally, Biden blamed everyone else for the skyrocketing inflation his policies brought about — even Vladimir Putin.

“Democrats didn’t cause this problem. Vladimir Putin did,” Biden claimed.
When that lie didn’t work, Biden falsely claimed inflation was already here when he took office.
By the end of his term, America experienced inflation so bad that some went without food!

On every single issue, Biden took the absolute wrong course of action. From foreign policy and his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan to his handling of Covid, Biden screwed it up. Of course, we were warned by no less than Barack Obama, who said in no uncertain terms not to underestimate Biden’s ability to “f**k things up.”
According to a 2020 Politico report:
One Democrat who spoke to Obama recalled the former president warned, “Don’t underestimate Joe’s ability to f**k things up.” Speaking of his own waning understanding of today’s Democratic electorate, especially in Iowa, Obama told one 2020 candidate: “And you know who really doesn’t have it? Joe Biden.”
Indeed, Biden has “effed” everything he has ever touched. The economy is in shambles, Americans are suffering from inflation and high prices, our military has been decimated thanks to woke policies, and millions upon millions of illegals, including terrorists and convicted criminals, have been allowed to enter the country.
For four long nightmarish years, Biden has done his best to screw America and the American people. The Gateway Pundit’s Cristina Laila provided a bullet-point list of Biden’s “accomplishments.”
- Disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal that resulted in 13 dead US service members.
- Record 40-year inflation rates.
- Soaring gas prices because of Biden’s anti-energy agenda
- More than 15 million illegal aliens entered the US because of Biden’s open borders.
- Record fentanyl overdoses.
- Supply chain crisis.
- Covid vaccine mandates.
- Calling millions of Trump supporters “garbage”
- Soaring crime
- Job-destroying tax hikes
- Endless Ukraine-Russia war/giving Ukraine BILLIONS of dollars
- Weaponization of his DOJ/locking up his political opponent
- Woke/gutted military
All of that in just four years… It literally boggles the mind. And that doesn’t even include Biden’s attempt to institute an Orwellian Ministry of Truth. Remember that?

But that doesn’t mean it can’t be brought back or rebooted.

In the closing days of his regime, His Lying Demented Fraudulence unilaterally declared the Equal Rights Amendment the 28th Amendment to the Constitution without any regard for the Constitution or the rule of law.

In a way, Biden’s attempt to unilaterally amend the Constitution is hilarious, given his repeated claim that amendments to the Constitution aren’t absolute.

Of course, there’s much more: Biden’s efforts to censor conservatives online in violation of the First Amendment, his desire to see our children sexually mutilated in the name of “gender-affirming” care, his weaponization of the federal government against pro-lifers and parents who speak up at school board meetings, and his never-ending efforts to foment hatred and bloodshed against those with whom he disagreed.
And there are still numerous allegations of wrong-doing by him and members of his family that have yet to be resolved.
The long national nightmare known as the Biden Regime is thankfully over. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t another wannabe Biden hiding in the wings waiting to pick up where Biden left off.
A post at the National Constitution Center observes:
There is a story, often told, that upon exiting the Constitutional Convention Benjamin Franklin was approached by a group of citizens asking what sort of government the delegates had created. His answer was: “A republic, if you can keep it.” The brevity of that response should not cause us to under-value its essential meaning: democratic republics are not merely founded upon the consent of the people, they are also absolutely dependent upon the active and informed involvement of the people for their continued good health.
One could make the reasonable argument that the American electorate woke up in time and saved the Republic from a repeat of the previous four years.
And for that, we are grateful.
