Biden’s picks for the FCC and FTC hate Conservatives. Gigi Sohn (FCC) and Alvaro Bedoya (FTC) were chosen to head the two federal agencies that have control over much of the content on the internet and who owns the companies. The committee that oversees their nominations tied on the move to advance their nominations, which means they couldn’t get them out of committee. Now other steps will have to be taken.
FCC Nominee Gigi Sohn
Sohn has been described as an “an ethically compromised radical left-wing activist.” She would promote Biden’s agenda for “net neutrality” which is basically another term for censorship of “voices” they don’t like.
Sohn has referred to Fox news “a state-sponsored propaganda network.” Funny how leftists attempt to flip that narrative. It’s that whole “transference” issue. She has called for more censorship of Conservatives.

FTC Nominee Alvaro Bedoya
From December 2016 to December 2020, Bedoya sat on the board of directors for the organization Free Press and its associated group, Free Press in Action, far-left organizations with $2.2 million in backing from the pro-censorship leftist billionaire Pierre Omidyar.
In 2017, Free Press denounced Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) as a “swamp dweller… mouthing the most uninformed talking points.”
Free Press has smeared a number of conservatives and conservative organizations. It accused Breitbart News and other conservative media entities of spreading “misinformation” and painting “people of color, immigrants, and religious minorities” as “the enemy of the United States.”
These radical far leftists should have no place whatsoever in our government. They spew the exact thing they accuse conservatives of doing: hate. What happens now, since the committee failed to advance them? Senator Schumer will have to “vote to discharge the nominees from committee consideration, and then vote for cloture and final passage on each nominee.” When that will happen, we don’t know. It would be better if they were taken off the nominee list entirely.
