Have we passed the Rubicon, to coin a phrase? Conservative outlets have been sounding the alarm over the treatment of arrestees from January 6, but their complaints have thus far fallen on deaf ears. Democrats bound and determined to paint every person in DC on Jan 6 as an “insurrectionist” or ”domestic terrorist,” have run roughshod over the rights of over 500 people. All while blatantly ignoring the destruction of numerous US cities in 2020. Nowhere is that more obvious than the case of 61 year old Glenn Allen Brooks, a business owner from Huntington Beach, CA. The FBI raid at his home in full battle gear tells us the mentality of federal agents.
A member of his prayer group at church saw a picture of him at the capitol and turned him in to the feds. The narrative of the left has run amok. What he was thinking that day we don’t know, maybe he wasn’t thinking at all. But likely he wasn’t thinking that peacefully taking pictures would be a problem, even though he allegedly climbed through a broken window. But was the FBI raid in full battle gear necessary? Doubtful.
FBI agents on Thursday raided the home of a Huntington Beach man after his prayer group tipped off the feds when he sent of photo of himself inside the Capitol to a group chat on January 6.
According to the criminal complaint, Glenn Allen Brooks, 61, entered the Capitol through a broken window on the senate side and peacefully walked through the building.
Brooks did not assault anyone and he did not damage property.
According to the complaint, Brooks walked through the building and took photos with his cellphone.
He has been charged with unlawful entry and disorderly conduct on restricted grounds.
Because of all THAT, Feds showed up at his home ready for the next war complete with body armor, guns, and shields. They have been doing that for others- a couple in Alaska was confronted with the same scenario, as have many others. Federal agents believe (thanks to the media and Democrats) that all participants in the Jan 6 rally are dangerous extremists and by d*** they are going to take them down come hell or high water.
Around 12 people in California have been charged in connection with the riot, many of them confronted with the FBI raid with full riot gear. While rioting is bad, and those who broke into the US Capitol Building should have known better, calling it an ‘insurrection’ is a bit much. Especially after the destruction wrought by Antifa and BLM in 2020. How much is too much; when is enough going to be enough?
