Couldn’t happen to a nicer dictator. Dr Anthony Fauci has been a thorn in the side of businesses, communities, Conservative governments, ordinary citizens, and…Senator Rand Paul. The Senator will introduce a bill to amend S 3799, the NIAID (National Institute for Allergies and Infections Diseases) to eliminate Fauci’s position, breaking the organization into three segments with different responsibilities, all of which would be under the NIH (National Institutes of Health.) Dumping Fauci would brighten our day, but unless he can drum up support for it, it may not pass. (The Epoch Times)

“We’ve learned a lot over the past two years, but one lesson in particular is that no one person should be deemed “dictator-in-chief.” No one person should have unilateral authority to make decisions for millions of Americans.To ensure that ineffective, unscientific lockdowns and mandates are never foisted on the American people ever again, I’ve introduced this amendment to eliminate Dr. Anthony Fauci’s position as Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, and divide his power into three separate new institutes. This will create accountability and oversight into a taxpayer funded position that has largely abused its power, and has been responsible for many failures and misinformation during the COVID-19 pandemic.”
The difficulty comes with the fact that the Democrats control the House, and the Senate is divided equally 50-50. It would be unusual in this divided atmosphere if anything like this passed. Democrats have sung Fauci’s praises throughout the age of Covid. The rest of us think he should be in jail. Forever. Not joking. Dumping Fauci would be a great idea.
The amendment would create three different organizations:

- National Institute of Allergic Diseases
- National Institute of Infectious Diseases
- National Institute of Immunologic Diseases
The Directors of each of those Institutes would be nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate only for a 5 year term. Fauci was not confirmed by the Senate. Dr. Paul is attempting to bring accountability to the Federal medical system. Up to now there has been none. Fauci has been in the position since 1984. The last reorganization of the NIH was in 2012.
