Over the last several years, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has waged a long-standing campaign to influence US lawmakers. They do so by campaign donations, front organizations, and direct influence such as the scandal involving Eric Swalwell and Chinese spy Christina Fang. But when Texas Rep Lance Gooden exposed Rep Judy Chu and Biden nominee Dominic Ng for a CCP connection to intelligence front groups based on a Daily Caller investigation, Democrats went ballistic. Now they are shrieking that “extremist” Republicans are racist and xenophobic.
Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, along with Reps. Adam Schiff of California, Raja Krishnamoorthi of Illinois and Daniel Goldman of New York attacked Texas Republican Rep. Lance Gooden after he questioned Chu’s “loyalty or competence” during an interview on Jesse Watters Primetime on Wednesday night. Gooden’s comments were in response to Chu’s defense of Dominic Ng, President Joe Biden’s appointee to the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), following a series of reports from the Daily Caller News Foundation which revealed that both Chu and Ng have apparent ties to alleged Chinese Communist Party (CCP) intelligence front groups.” Daily Caller

In short, you can’t expose the truth anymore because Democrats will call you names. It’s how decades of corruption gets buried.

Newsflash: revealing the truth is not “hate,” nor is it “racist.” Some of the organizations she has had dealings with are considered CCP Front organizations. The China Overseas Exchange Association (COEA), United Front Work Department (UFWD), the China Overseas Friendship Association (COFA), and she was named Honorary Chairwoman of the Forums for Peaceful Reunification of China in 2019. (It is unclear at this time whether she has any administrative duties, or if she is still the “honorary chairwoman” of the group.) She appears to be against Taiwan being an independent nation by statements she made to that group. Those statements appear to be in contrast to her greeting Taiwan President Tsai at her arrival in the US in 2018.
If Chu wants to avoid such issues, she should be wiser with whom she deals. Do you think she should have a security clearance given the possibility of a CCP connection?
She voted against a Special House Committee on China, saying that it would lead to “intensifying anti-Asian hate here in the United States.” And the Democrat response to the revelations of connection to CCP front organizations uses that narrative to blast Rep Gooden.
She has given special recognition certificates to people involved in the front organizations.
How do we know that these are CCP front organizations? The U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission identified the various groups as fronts for CCP intelligence. The plan is to contribute to lawmakers’ campaigns so that they will enact pro-China legislation. Apart from just money, the propaganda effect of a US legislator openly supporting Chinese wants belies the fact that they are infiltrated into the US across the nation. It has nothing to do with ethnicity- it has everything to do with security.
