Three Israeli hostages were released by Hamas on January 19, 2025. The remaining 23 for the first phase are to be released in stages as Israel must release over a hundred convicted murderers and terrorists. Delusional Joe is trying to claim credit for the deal in spite of the fact that Steve Witkoff, Trump’s special envoy joined the negotiations to reach a hostage release, which ultimately pushed a deal over the line. Such as it is.

Biden’s inept “negotiators” did little, though Biden claims they were wonderful. Keep in mind this is NOT a good hostage release deal for Israel. The requirement to release over a hundred terrorist/murderers back into the streets is extremely detrimental to the safety of Israel and her citizens.
Israel, however, is celebrating the release of 3 Israelis – one kidnapped from the music festival, and two dragged from their homes.

Romi Gonen, Doron Steinbrecher and Emily Damari were released to their mothers in Israel via the Red Cross and IDF. It is also worth noting that Emily is now missing two fingers on her left hand, likely due to the treatment by the barbarian terrorists of Hamas.
The hostage release did not come without intimidation from the Qassam Brigade of Hamas.
