DC DRAMA: Hunter Stiff-Arms House Subpoena; GOP Calls Out Hunter’s Latest Lie (Video)

If anything demonstrates the ‘contempt’ part of ‘Contempt of Congress’ it’s showing up for a deposition… denouncing the people who subpoenaed you in a presser… and then walking away.

The Democrats have been doing everything in their power to make sure Trump’s former advisor, Steve Bannon, gets jail time for refusing to cooperate with a partisan witch-hunt that routinely runs roughshod over any precedent of legal privilege.

Morning Joe, not surprisingly, shared Hunter’s self-serving showboating presser which was given, you will notice, on The Hill.

Showing up to the ADDRESS where your deposition is to be held and giving a presser there without going to the ROOM where your deposition is to be held is a lot like showing up to a courthouse and doing a presser, but not going to the courtroom.

A failure to obey a lawful summons is contempt in either case.

Naturally, Raskin, AOC, and the rogues’ gallery of Dems in the committee showed up as well.
