Anne Dunleavy was a Connecticut teacher who threatened to kill Trump supporters. It’s almost a shock that her district held her accountable given the current political atmosphere, but they did force her out. Yay for them. But she recently cried her eyes out on air when asked about her statement by an interviewer.
“Please don’t test your gangster on me because you’ll end on a stretcher gone forever…”I wanted to basically just say, like, I’m not going to go down without a fight. I mean, you know, it’s my life’s dream to be a teacher.” Anne Dunleavy, former Connecticut teacher.
At least she said “please.” But that is a threat, plain and simple. Threatening to kill millions of Americans was a stupid choice. Whining about the consequences was even more stupid.

Oh, yeah, a “big misunderstanding.” Not. She knew full well that her emotions were out of control. Being around children in that state is horrifying. Pay attention to her demeaner – and note that she isn’t sorry for her actions, she’s sorry she got caught and lost her job.
Many of the responses to what the Connecticut teacher did were classic:
“This lady should not be a teacher even if she hadn’t posted that video. She said it herself that she wants to be a teacher because it makes her feel good, that those are her children, that they fill a void in her life. The focus should be on the students not on how it benefits her. These kind of people become emotionally attached, become territorial which is why many of them think they can do whatever they want because they know better than the parent.
