Carl Lemon, 63, a Connecticut High School Staff Member, began ranting about killing “every white man he could get his hands on.” The school was placed on lockdown for about 10 minutes as police dealt with the situation on March 29. They found a large kitchen knife in Lemon’s desk, and had his computer and journals seized.

Carl Lemon worked at Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport, Connecticut as an In School Suspension Coordinator. He was not authorized to teach, and was only supposed to supervise students who were sent to ISS. But  coworkers, and students noticed his bizarre behavior and notified the principal.

A student who was extremely worried contacted the principal with a note:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Mr. Lemon talks about shooting whites a lot! He is waiting for the Panthers to tell him to execute. He steps on an American flag and disrespects us. Check his computer. He watches radical stuff during class. I am scared he will do something. He told a teacher that he does not like the principals and he will take them out. He is crazy.”

Lemon stated that he “couldn’t wait for the Panthers to give the OK and a revolution begins” so he could “execute every white man he gets his hands on.” He also trampled an American flag in class, telling people, “That’s what I think about it.”

Breitbart reported,

A police report said that when officers went to his room and told him he was under arrest, Lemon paced around his desk, nervously opened and closed drawers in his desk, and tried to cover things up on his desk before finally surrendering peacefully. Police then found the large kitchen knife in his workspace.

Lemon has been arrested for harassment and disorderly conduct in the past but has no convictions on his record.

The full police report can be found here.

The officer who wrote the police report stated that he noticed Lemon trying to hide the papers on his desk, so after Lemon was arrested, the officer returned to the room and seized the papers and journals he appeared to try to hide. He also advised the school to have the computer sent to the school’s I.T. department to review the hard drive.

Lemon was arrested for 2nd degree threats and breach of peace, and released on a $5,000 bond. It’s the “released” part that is concerning.
