CNN Propagandist Don Lemon BECLOWNS Himself While Talking To Chief Of Nat’l Hurricane Center (Video)

He’s not called the Dumbest Man on Television for nothing.

For years now, the new talking point from the Climate Zealots has been that “climate change” is making the hurricane season more active and/or more intense.

No major hurricanes this year? No problem. That can be attributed to “climate change”, too.

That’s the beauty of calling it “climate change” — any weather pattern or even the disruption of a normal weather pattern can be attributed to “greenhouse gases” that make up 0.1% of the Earth’s atmosphere.

But perhaps the most disingenuous thing that these hacks do is say that a particular weather event is due to anthropogenic “climate change.”

CNN’s Don Lemon was doing this very thing when talking to the head of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Hurricane Center, Jamie Rhome. Lemon was trying to get Rhome to say that Hurricane Ian, which is expected to make landfall on Florida’s gulf coast as a Category 4 storm, has rapidly intensified because of climate change.

Rhome shut him down on that, but Lemon just had to squeeze in that he knows more than the expert here because he “grew up there.”

LEMON NOTED THAT METEOROLOGISTS HAVE SAID HURRICANE IAN COULD ENTER “ANOTHER PERIOD OF RAPID INTENSIFICATION” AND ASKED RHOME WHAT EFFECT CLIMATE CHANGE HAD HAS ON THE “PHENOMENA.”

“WE CAN COME BACK AND TALK ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE AT A LATER TIME. I WANT TO FOCUS ON THE HERE AND NOW. WE THINK THE RAPID INTENSIFICATION IS PROBABLY ALMOST DONE. THERE COULD BE A LITTLE BIT MORE INTENSIFICATION AS IT STILL OVER THE WARM WATERS OF THE EASTERN GULF OF MEXICO BUT I DON’T THINK WE’RE GOING TO GET ANY MORE RAPID INTENSIFICATION,” RHOME SAID.

“LISTEN, I’M JUST TRYING TO GET, YOU SAID YOU WANT TO TALK ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE. BUT WHAT EFFECT DOES CLIMATE CHANGE HAVE ON THIS PHENOMENON THAT IS HAPPENING NOW? BECAUSE IT SEEMS THESE STORMS ARE INTENSIFYING. THAT’S THE QUESTION,” LEMON ASKED AGAIN.

“I DON’T THINK YOU CAN LINK CLIMATE CHANGE TO ANY ONE EVENT. ON THE WHOLE, ON THE CUMULATIVE, CLIMATE CHANGE MAY BE MAKING STORMS WORSE. BUT TO LINK IT TO ANY ONE EVENT, I WOULD CAUTION AGAINST THAT,” RHOME SAID.

LEMON SAID HE GREW UP IN FLORIDA AND ADDED THAT SOMETHING WAS MAKING THESE STORMS INTENSIFY.

Lemon and his ilk insist that the storms are intensifying because of climate change.

Are they, though?

While there have been some pretty active hurricane seasons in the past few years, 2022 hasn’t been particularly active.

If you look over at Wikipedia, you’d see that there was an 8 period in the 20s and 30s that had a whole heap of major hurricanes that were Category 3 and above.

There were only two years in the 1960s that didn’t have a Cat-4 or Cat-5 storm.

Sure, that’s just a cursory glance at Wikipedia’s entry on Atlantic Hurricane Seasons, and I am by no means an expert, but I can see that there are clearly ebbs and flows when it comes to tropical storms and hurricanes, but don’t expect the climate zealots to ever admit that.

They’re going to uncritically rattle off the talking points that fits the agenda, and Don Lemon can be counted on to do that reliably.

We shouldn’t expect Don Lemon to do anything but beclown himself on television. After all, it’s what he does best.

We all know that if Don Lemon was a straight white guy he would’ve been canned years ago.

Here he is in 2014 wondering if a missing jet was sucked in by a black hole.

No, really.

No wonder this guy was demoted to daytime CNN. It’s probably so that his co-hosts Poppy Harlow and Kaitlin Collins can cut him off and change the subject when he goes off on one of his dumb tangents.

(Ed. ~ Lemon, by the way, was named the “Liberal Media Propagandist of the Year” for 2020 by Conservative Firing Line readers.  It seems that “award” was well-deserved.)
