On Friday, conservatives reacted sharply after CNN propagandist Leyla Santiago told fellow propagandist Jake Tapper that Trump will “…be at Mt. Rushmore where he’ll be standing in front of a monument of two slave owners and on land wrestled away from Native Americans…”
But the liberal propaganda outlet had a whole different point of view when the park was visited by former President Barack Obama and socialist Senator Bernie Sanders.
In 2008, the network praised the site, calling it “majestic” and “quite a sight” when Obama visited.
“Barack Obama is campaigning in South Dakota. That state’s primary is Tuesday. Obama arrived there late last night and got a good look around Mt. Rushmore — it’s quite a sight if you haven’t seen it,” Ron Marciano said in 2008.

“Barack Obama is in South Dakota today. He arrived there last night. Take a look at this. He got a good glimpse of the majestic Mount Rushmore. Well, South Dakota and Montana have closed out the primary season on Tuesday,” Betty Nguyen added.
The network also praised it when Sanders appeared in 2016:

But now that Trump is president, Mt. Rushmore is a “monument of two slave owners…”

This is one of the reasons many now view CNN as the “least-trusted” name in network news, and rightfully so.
