Calls Grow For Rittenhouse To SUE Media, Dems, Biden For Defamation Following Acquittal

Should Kyle Rittenhouse sue the media, Democrats and especially Joe Biden, for defaming him as a “white supremacist” and a “murderer” now that he has been acquitted by a jury in Kenosha, Wisconsin?  For many, the answer is, yes.

And it seems that calls for him to sue are growing.

Consider the response Rittenhouse’s acquittal got from the unhinged, insane and ignorant left:

Newsbusters found this hot take from CNN propagandist Chris “Fredo” Cuomo:

CNN’s Chris Cuomo seemed to be itching to catch a defamation suit from innocent Kyle Rittenhouse as he opened his Friday show after the not guilty verdict was handed out, calling him a “chump” filled with “animus” for the people in the Black Lives Matter riot who managed to trick the jury. He even suggested Rittenhouse should have tried to fight off the entire crowd with his fists first and defended convicted pedophile Joseph Rosenbaum because at least he hadn’t “killed anybody.”

But it’s no surprise Cuomo would take that position. After all, he’s an admitted sexual assaulter with an affinity for Antifa terrorists and who’s fantasized publicly about choking and punching his critics.

In addition to smearing Rittenhouse, his opening screed was directed at Wisconsin’s law allowing for self-defense. After declaring “it is too easy to kill in this society,” Cuomo took issue with the idea that you can protect yourself from “imminent serious injury or death” with your own deadly force.

CBS “News,” Newsbusters informs us, is STILL peddling the blatant lie that Rittenhouse carried a rifle across state lines:

On Sunday’s edition of CBS Face The Nation, it seemed as though their goal when covering the not guilty verdict in the Kyle Rittenhouse self-defense trial was to cram as many lies as they could into the segment. Moderator Margaret Brennan allowed lies about him bringing the gun across state lines, allowed lies about him buying it illegally, allowed lies about him being a white supremacist, and allowed lies about the nature of the riot.

The segment didn’t pass the smell test from the get-go. In the video report that kicked off the topic, correspondent Mark Strassmann continued to peddle the debunked lie that the Rittenhouse had brought the rifle over state lines.

“In the chaos of Kenosha last August, Rittenhouse, then 17, killed two men with his AR-15-style assault rifle. He claimed self-defense. Rittenhouse drove in from Illinois armed for battle. He knew outage already ran high,” he falsely proclaimed.

“The trial itself proved that to be a lie cooked up by the liberal media. The overzealous and sleazy prosecution didn’t even charge him with that crime and said in the courtroom that the rifle was in Wisconsin already,” Nicholas Fondacaro said.

Doing her bit to foment violence and bloodshed, MSNBC propagandist Tiffany Cross called Rittenhouse a “little murderous white supremacist” after he was acquitted:

“The fact that white supremacists roam the halls of Congress freely and celebrate this little murderous white supremacist and the fact that he gets to walk the streets freely, it lets you know these people have access to instituting laws…they run the legislative branch…”

Attorney Jenna Ellis noted that, “Murder is a legal definition. Kyle was acquitted. This is textbook defamation with actual malice.”

Of course it was done with malice.  This was MSNBC, the official network of insane bloodthirsty liberal rage, hate and stupid lying liberal propaganda.  Malice is what they do best, in the opinion of this writer.  Sadly, MSNBC was not alone in this type of “reporting.”

Drew Holden, the Gateway Pundit said, put together a short list of potential targets for defamation lawsuits:

And let’s never forget what His Lying Demented Fraudulence, Joe Biden, said before he was installed as President:

“When I saw that I was shocked, I was angry. President Biden don’t [sic] know my son whatsoever, and he’s not a white supremacist. He’s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes. And I was so angry for a while at him and what he did to my son, he defamed him,” Kyle’s mother, Wendy, told Sean Hannity.

And let’s not forget this:

Breitbart’s Joel Pollack noted:

When Biden made the now-infamous, and false, claim about Rittenhouse at the end of last September, more than a month had gone by since the Aug. 25, 2020 shootings for which Rittenhouse had been charged within days. Even then it was clear that no evidence existed to substantiate the media’s initial claim that he was a “white supremacist” — a claim his legal counsel at the time denied on Aug. 28, 2020, and reiterated in a subsequent interview with Breitbart News Sunday on SiriusXM Patriot 125.

Typically, presidents are immune from civil lawsuits for torts alleged to have taken place during their time in office. But as the infamous case of Paula Jones’s sexual harassment lawsuit against President Bill Clinton showed, presidents are not immune from suit for torts committed prior to their taking office. Biden could therefore be sued by Rittenhouse. While Rittenhouse has yet not said he will sue, his mother recently said explicitly that Biden had “defamed” her son — perhaps a sign of a lawsuit to come.

Biden, of course, wasn’t alone in defaming Rittenhouse.  A number of Democrats, including Cori Bush, followed suit.

Even Newsweek — hardly a conservative outlet — said Rittenhouse could sue media outlets for defamation:

Kyle Rittenhouse could argue President Joe Biden defamed him with a tweet apparently linking him with white supremacists, according to a lawyer who won a defamation case for the student Nicholas Sandmann.

Todd McMurtry helped Sandmann, a former Kentucky high school student, reach a settlement with CNN after he was portrayed as the aggressor in an apparent confrontation in January 2019 with a Native American activist on the National Mall in Washington, DC.

A longer version of the video debunked media reports that Sandmann, a student at Covington Catholic High School, was the aggressor but not before a number of media outlets portrayed the incident as being racially charged.

He also saw similarities with the Sandmann case and suggested that a number of media outlets could also face defamation claims for how they portrayed Rittenhouse.

“Lots of media people said he was a murderer, and I think that’s actionable because that suggests that he committed a crime, and we now know that he didn’t,” McMurtry told Fox News.

One Twitter user reminds us:

Yes, Rittenhouse SHOULD sue these outlets along with Biden and the Democrats for continuing to make their blatantly false and defamatory claims.
