Biden failed to salute the Marine contingent guarding the church just prior to the Inauguration – even after receiving an instruction through his ear wire to do so. That wasn’t the only misstep – hundreds of National Guard troops were unceremoniously shoved out of the Senate building into a parking garage with one bathroom for 5,000 people and one electric outlet with no cell service. They felt ‘betrayed.’
Biden Failed: Disrespect or dementia?
Prior to the the inauguration, the entourage attended a service at Washington’s Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle. Joe Biden and wife Jill, Kamala Harris and her husband Doug Emhoff climbed the steps to the church (a tough task in and of itself for the elderly), then Biden appeared lost.

Now that we have an elderly President whose mental faculties are in serious question, it was reported that he wears an earpiece to receive instructions from aides. But on January 20, he allegedly received the instruction to “salute the Marines” and simply repeated it instead of acting on it. [Note- some people think he said “good looking Marines” instead, so judge it for yourself in the video. To us, it clearly sounds like “Salute the Marines.”] Biden failed to do what his handler told him to do.
This occurred before he was sworn in, so technically he didn’t have to salute them – President Trump did it as a matter of honor and respect, but as a civilian, both Biden and his former boss Obama weren’t required. And they didn’t. Will Biden have them hold his umbrella too?

The paranoia of Democrats that demanded 25,000 National Guard troops deployed to DC also dragged with it an odd method of thanks to those who secured the city from their phantom dangers. The Guard members were abruptly remanded to a parking garage. Some of them said they felt betrayed.

Thousands of National Guardsmen were allowed back into the Capitol Thursday night, hours after U.S. Capitol Police officials ordered them to vacate the facilities, sending them outdoors or to nearby parking garages after two weeks pulling security duty after the deadly riot on Jan. 6.
One unit, which had been resting in the Dirksen Senate Office building, was abruptly told to vacate the facility on Thursday, according to one Guardsman. The group was forced to rest in a nearby parking garage without internet reception, with just one electrical outlet, and one bathroom with two stalls for 5,000 troops, the person said. Temperatures in Washington were in the low 40s by nightfall.“Yesterday dozens of senators and congressmen walked down our lines taking photos, shaking our hands and thanking us for our service. Within 24 hours, they had no further use for us and banished us to the corner of a parking garage. We feel incredibly betrayed,” the Guardsman said.
POLITICO obtained photos showing the Guard members packed together in the parking garage, sleeping on the ground.
The soldier laughed when asked to describe the protocols to mitigate the spread of the virus.

Some speculated that it was because of the mask mandate and worries over the spread of the virus. The troops were required to mask up unless eating or drinking. But when asked about what protocols were in place to mitigate the spread of the virus, one soldier responded, “There’s none. We are on top of each other all day, every day. We’ve given up.”
The outcry from legislators who heard about the situation forced the Capitol Police to allow them back inside the building. The Acting Capitol Police Chief denied that anyone told them to leave in the first place. Somebody did, or all those troops wouldn’t have “voluntarily” left the building for various parking garages. CYA, DC style.
The fact is, during overseas deployments, the conditions are generally much worse than a parking garage with only one two seater port-a-potty.
