Benghazi veteran hammers teen tyrant David Hogg over silly tweet

Over the weekend, David Hogg, the foul-mouthed anti-gun teen demagogue dubbed the “king of the snowflakes,” issued a tweet asking followers if they remember a time when there “wasn’t a school shooting every week.”  That prompted a stinging rebuke from Kris Paronto, a former Army Ranger who survived the 2012 attack in Benghazi.

Hogg tweeted: “Remeber (sic) a time when there wasn’t a school shooting every week? I don’t because I wasn’t alive.”

That prompted Paronto to respond: “I remember, it was before your generation started shooting up the schools David, even though we still had guns. Thank you for confirming..again…that it’s not the gun, it’s person, and in particular you & your peers millennial culture. ”

The Daily Wire’s Ryan Saavedra noted:

Paronto was part of the CIA annex security team that responded to the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, helping to save nearly two dozen lives during the siege for over 13 hours.

Asked last September how the average American could keep him/herself and their family safe, he replied, “Training is absolutely critical for self-defense. Under stress, you are always going to resort to your highest level of training. Just going out and purchasing a firearm will be of little help if you don’t have the repetition and stress induced by good training.”

Others weighed in:

I remember those…

One person told Hogg:

Kyle Kashuv, a pro-Second Amendment Parkland survivor, shredded Hogg’s “math.”

Ouch again…

Exit question: Will Hogg ever learn not to spout off on subjects he knows nothing about?  Our guess is probably not…  At least there’s people like Paronto around to set him straight.
