Awww… Former MSNBC hack Touré Neblett ‘not extremely proud to be an American’

Responding to a Gallup poll which shows that only 47 percent in the U.S. are “extremely proud” to be Americans, former MSNBC propagandist Touré Neblett said on Twitter that he’s one of the 53 percent who isn’t extremely proud to be an American.

“Gallup: A record-low 47% of Americans are extremely proud to be Americans. I get it. I’m not extremely proud to be an American right now. Are you?” he tweeted.

Oddly enough, Gallup noted the sharp division between political parties. According to the poll, only 32 percent of Democrats said they would call themselves “extremely proud” to be Americans as opposed to 74 percent of Republicans.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

NBC noted that the number is “down ten points in just the last five years, from 57 percent in 2013.”  In the same time frame, the report added, the number of Republicans who say they’re “extremely proud” to be Americans is actually up from 71 percent while the reverse is true for Democrats.

The number of Democrats who don’t seem to like America very much, of course, doesn’t surprise us, given the party’s shift to the left and its embrace of Marxism and Socialism.

Many took Neblett to task for his statement.

One person noted: “This is the greatest country on earth. I’m damn proud to be an American and am humbled by the thousands of men and women that have paid the ultimate price. I will never lose my pride regardless of which party is in power.”
