Universities seem to be filled to the brim with seditionists and George Mason University outside Washington D.C. seems to be only the latest bastion of anti-Americanism after yet another so-called “professor” showed his true colors.
Nicholas Decker, a GMU PhD in economics didn’t just spout off in anger in or out of the classroom. He did mouth off out of passion. He did just have a quick, but maybe quickly regretted lapse in judgement. He actually wrote a full essay revealing his hateful, dangerous, ignorance.
Decker actually wrote an entire blog post explaining how we have to assassinate President Trump and everyone who supports him.
He wrote it. In black and white. For everyone to see. It was not an accident.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
After his hateful, dangerous, murderous screed, Decker tried to backpedal with an updated note.
Well didn’t that get quite a reception! The response has been far greater than I anticipated; I was certainly impressed by the inventiveness and facility of my interlocutors. I wish to make a few points clear. Violence is a last resort, not a first resort. It must come after the exhaustion of all possible remedy. It is not, moreover, appropriate for decisions which are merely unwise or disastrous. It is to be employed only in defense of our Constitution, and of democracy. If it is resorted to, it must be narrowly targeted, and aimed only at extirpating those who have power, and are unjustly resisting giving it up.
But, here is the rub… who says when it is time for that “last resort”? And by who’s definition is our “democracy” endangered? And who is defining what our democracy even is to assess that “violation.”
We certainly can’t use Decker’s definition. He wouldn’t know what America’s Democracy is if it leapt up and bit him in his communist ass.
See, this is the rub. Creeps like Decker both hate our system and don’t really know anything about how it works or where it came from. All they know is that they hate it, and want it materially changed, or abolished. And they are willing to kill anyone who gets in their way.
And Decker fully admitted to it all.
But he isn’t alone. Democrats agree with him. Like Muslims, there are two kinds of Democrats. Those who openly espouse political terrorism, and those who agree with it if someone else does it in pursuit of their ideals.
