The Democrats have gone full on ‘open borders,’ and appear to be using it as their mainstream platform now. Rep Mark Pocan (D-WI) sent around an “Abolish ICE” bill to House Democrats just after the 4th of July break. The bill is co-sponsored by Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) and Rep. Adriano Espaillat (D-NY). They’re still “tweaking it” according to Breitbart.
The very fact that the Democrats are pushing this bill shows that they are out of the mainstream of America. The Washington Post claims that the bill would allow some enforcement of immigration while the dissoution of ICE was completed, but Breitbart says that is incorrect:
The bill “would set up a task force to review what ICE should be replaced with. In the meantime, no federal agency would be able to arrest and detain illegal aliens living across the United States. The Democrat plan would — at least temporarily — cease all interior enforcement of immigration.”
In other words, your basic total disaster. Is this what America wants? Doubtful.

“For months, the “abolish ICE” slogan has been increasingly embraced by left-wing activists and insurgent Democratic candidates for Congress. On June 25, after days of news stories about immigrant families being separated in detention centers, Pocan said he would introduce a bill to end ICE. One day later, Democratic congressional candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez scored a primary upset in New York, dramatically raising the profile of the ICE issue.” The Washington Post
The Washington Post also says that the agency can’t do its job because of Trump. That’s not true. It’s because of liberal/leftist whiners – those who ignore the facts and push a radical agenda.
Let’s look at Europe and see how open borders have worked for them: literally millions of immigrants have created havoc in their communities, killed their citizens, and nearly completely destroyed their culture. Rape, murder, terrorism…and America is not far behind if the Democrats manage to use their bleeding heart mentality to push this bill through.
Antifa wants it, socialists want it, MS-13 would love it. Do you?
