Young boy brags about setting fire at anti-Trump protest — Screengrab: YouTube

As we reported earlier this morning, liberal protesters caused chaos and engaged in violence outside the Deploraball, a pre-inauguration event held at the National Press Club.  As part of the protest, a fire was set, reportedly of pro-Trump items and American flags.  One of those who helped set the fire was a young boy named Connor who bragged about setting the fire.  He also had choice words for the incoming president.

According to the Washington Free Beacon (Emphasis added):

Footage of the fire showed a crowd around it, including a young boy flipping his middle fingers at the flames. Fox News correspondent Griff Jenkins asked the boy who said he was part of starting the fire why he did so.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“Because I felt like it and because I’m just, uh, saying ‘screw our president!’” the boy said.

Here’s video of that short Q&A:

The reaction on social media was pretty much what one would expect.

Absolutely, and so should the boy’s parents…

One person observed:

Hmmm…

This, by the way, is the current state of the Borg-like collective known as the modern American left and aptly demonstrates why Trump won in November.  As we’ve said before, it’s enough to make one think these people really want a second, bloody civil war in America.

As a final note, we intend to have a live feed running during Trump’s inauguration.  Contributor Bobbie Gerry is working to get that set up and plans to bring us live video and reports from Washington, D.C., so stay tuned here for that.
