It’s hardly news any more when Obama lies but now there is a big difference. People aren’t swooning over his speeches. And no one is believing his lies. Is this the beginning of the end?
Obama lied to the American people when he said he had plenty of proof that Assad launched the saran gas attacks. He can’t deem to convince the Russians, Chinese, French, British, Mongolian hordes, Roman legions, or Attila and the Huns. Chief of Staff Denis McDonough argued that it was common sense to deduce Assad launched the gas attack. Common sense says Assad would attack a civilian target, when the rebel camp was just two miles away? Really? Common sense says Assad would attack the rebels with gas just as they driving them out of the country and three days after Assad allowed UN inspectors into the country.
