After President Donald Trump’s epic-long press conference, operatives of the Democrat-media complex, formerly known as “reporters” in the so-called “mainstream media,” melted down over the president’s criticism of the press.  NBC’s Chuck Todd went ballistic, declaring on Twitter that is is “unAmerican” to “delegitmize the press,” apparently unaware of the irony in his statement.

Newsbusters’ Scott Whitlock noted:

He later whined, “Press bashing may feel good to folks but when it’s done by people in power, it’s corrosive. Take off your partisan hats for a second.” During live coverage, Lester Holt chided, “It was contentious. It was ugly at moments and we haven’t seen anything like it.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Maybe Chuck and the rest of the liberal media should take a hard look in the mirror…

Todd’s tweet sparked the predictable response:

So true…

But who is delegitimizing whom?  This person got it:

Excellent point.  I don’t recall Todd getting this bent out of shape when Obama continually attacked Fox News.

What’s sad is that the media will never get it.  Expect to see a lot more of this the next four years or more.
