CSPAN asks: ‘Did President Obama Just Admit He Was Muslim?’

On Monday, CSPAN went where few dare to go. Posting a short video of a statement President Obama made when he spoke to G20 members in Antalya, Turkey, CSPAN asked: “Did President Obama Just Admit He Was Muslim?”
“Pay attention to when he uses the word ‘we’,” Brian Temples wrote.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Here’s a transcript of Obama’s comment:
“I think on the one hand, non-Muslims cannot stereotype. But I also think the Muslim community has to think about how we make sure that children are not being infected with this twisted notion that somehow they can kill innocent people and that is justified…”
Did he just say “we?” And just to whom is Obama referring, exactly? Here’s a video snippet of his comment, courtesy of CSPAN:
Since his first election, many have speculated that Obama is truly a Muslim, despite claims that he is Christian. At one point, nearly one in five said they believe he is a Muslim. In September, that number went up to about one in three.
In 2012, a majority of voters in Mississippi believed Obama is a Muslim, prompting MSNBC’s Ed Schultz to blame Sarah Palin.
Whether Obama is a Muslim or not, many have said he seems to favor that religious belief over others, especially Christianity.
Now, CSPAN wants to know if Obama just admitted being a Muslim. It sure sounds like it. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
