“Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie and Chevrolet.” So goes the old sales slogan from a generation ago. Few, if any, millennials were even around to remember the slogan, but it defined a generation of Americans. We were all about traditional American values.
Sports like baseball, basketball, and football have long been a part of our traditional way of life in America. They are a part of the very fabric of America’s traditions and values.
Now that we have seen a left-wing Marxist insurgency overtaking America, those traditional American values are being assaulted on a daily basis. Today, we could alter the slogan to read, “Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie and Government Motors.” After all, Obama’s bailouts were nothing more than a “redistribution of wealth,” one of the basic tenets of a Marxist insurgency. Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
After a recent conversation (yesterday) that I had with a liberal regarding the NFL “committing suicide,” I made the remark that the NFL was about to go bankrupt. He said, “It will never happen, the only ones who won’t support the NFL are just a bunch of stupid Donald Trump supporters.”
What that fool failed to realize is that this isn’t about Donald Trump, it is about disrespecting those whose blood was spilled defending their right to to be free, and the flag which represents those freedoms and those who gave up their life’s blood to insure those freedoms.
He also refused to address the fact that we outnumber the radical left wing.
We have collectively shut-down major corporations such as Target, and the Dayton-Hudson conglomerate for opposing traditional American values; and we can do it again!
I am personally calling upon all traditional “Apple Pie” Americans to BOYCOTT the NFL.
For those of you who need your “football fix,” instead support your state’s college and high school football teams. Take the money you would otherwise have wasted on season passes to NFL and invest them in your state and local school football and sports programs.
Professional football stars do not deserve your support. They are un-American, cowardly, ingrates not worth the ridiculous salaries they receive. Your money would be better spent supporting our colleges, universities, and high schools. The radical left wing in America is grinding down traditional American values. We can turn it around with the help of Apple Pie Americans. Let’s do it!
