‘He will die in jail’: Ex-NSA analyst says intelligence community set to go nuclear on Trump
On Wednesday, John Schindler, a columnist with the New York Observer and a former NSA analyst with nearly a decade of service, said the intelligence community is prepared to ramp up its war against President Donald Trump and is set to “go nuclear” on the chief executive, the Daily Caller reported.

According to the Daily Caller:
The Observer columnist has for months taken a strong stance against Trump. He recently wrote an article called “The Spy Revolt Against Trump Begins.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
This came after President Trump angrily tweeted about continued leaks to major media outlets. “Information is being illegally given to the failing [New York Times] & [Washington Post] by the intelligence community (NSA and FBI?). Just like Russia,” Trump wrote.
Schindler, the report adds, received a fair amount of flack for the tweet.

Which, of course, the left has been pushing since Trump’s historic election.

The Daily Caller added:
ABC News chief foreign correspondent Terry Moran tweeted, “If this source is for real, talk of a ‘Deep State’ coup aren’t insane. [The president] will ‘die in jail’? Who do you think you are?”
The former NSA analyst stood by his comment and said, “Surprisingly, some US spies consider [the president] colluding with [Russian intelligence services] + Kremlin, [including] election theft, to be kinda treason-y.”
This comes at about the same time the Wall Street Journal reported that the IC is keeping intelligence information away from Trump:
In some of these cases of withheld information, officials have decided not to show Mr. Trump the sources and methods that the intelligence agencies use to collect information, the current and former officials said. Those sources and methods could include, for instance, the means that an agency uses to spy on a foreign government.
A White House official said: “There is nothing that leads us to believe that this is an accurate account of what is actually happening.”…
…It wasn’t clear Wednesday how many times officials have held back information from Mr. Trump.
The officials emphasized that they know of no instance in which crucial information about security threats or potential plotting has been omitted. Still, the misgivings that have emerged among intelligence officials point to the fissures spreading between the White House and the U.S. spy agencies.
And, according to William Binney, a former highly placed NSA official turned whistleblower, the NSA is spying on the president, Breitbart reported:
Asked whether he believes the NSA is tapping Trump, Binney replied: “Absolutely. How did they get the phone call between the president and the president of Australia? Or the one that he made with Mexico? Those are not targeted foreigners.”
Binney further contended the NSA may have been behind a data leak that might have revealed that Michael Flynn, Trump’s national security adviser, allegedly misled Vice President Mike Pence and other Trump administration officials about the contents of his phone calls with Russia’s ambassador to Washington.
One can’t help but wonder: Will the “deep state” and the intelligence community try to assassinate Trump? And what would be the result of such an action?
