You probably heard about a SNAFU raid where authorities kicked down the wrong door and put an innocent person in handcuffs. What you may NOT have heard is who they were looking for and why.
Days after that raid, a neighbor — the one whose door police were supposed to have kicked in — was found to have killed himself.
Police acknowledge that neighbor, Tim Yergeau, 36, was the subject of a criminal investigation by the Special Victims Unit, looking into child pornography cases.
“The person who died was definitely the suspect in a child pornography investigation and the person who committed suicide,” New Haven Police Chief Karl Jacobson told Hearst Connecticut Media Group on Wednesday.

The chief has requested an internal affairs investigation after members of the Special Victims Unit investigating the child pornography case broke down the door of Yergeau’s neighbor and handcuffed the woman before realizing they raided the wrong apartment

There are two details of this guy’s resume that you are unlikely to hear about on regime media. Details would be shouted from the rooftops if they similarly implicated institutions aligned with the political right.
His most recent job was with a theatre. Not really a surprise there. His previous jobs, in light of today’s political culture, are more interesting in light of his attitude toward sexualized children.
Yergeau was hired in August 2022 as the Long Wharf Theatre’s marketing and communications director, according to the organization’s website.
“We are shocked and deeply saddened to learn the developments of the last 24 hours,” a spokesperson for the theater said Wednesday in an email. “Given the difficult news, it would be inappropriate to comment further.”
According to the Long Wharf Theatre website, Yergeau had previously done marketing and strategic communications for Planned Parenthood of Southern New England and the New Haven Free Public Library Foundation. –NewHaven Register
Nasty sexual inclinations in the acting world almost amount to a dog-bites-man story these days. But Planned Parenthood AND a library for someone who offed himself after it became known he was at the center of a kiddie porn investigation?
If they could lay this at the feet of a religious organization, it would be used as proof positive that the whole institution was corrupt.
But here we have an LGBT activist… who worked for Planned Parenthood AND a library at a time in history when both are actively pushing to expose children to sexualized issues at younger and younger ages … and they are shocked that we use terms like ‘groomer’?
