Virginia Democrat Candidate Says Reporting On Her Online Sex Vids Is An ‘Illegal Invasion Of Privacy’

The Democrat running for a seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates and her husband live-streamed sex acts and took requests from viewers that paid them “tips.”

The Washington Post broke the story on Monday.

Susanna Gibson, 40, a nurse practitioner and mother of two young children, is running for a crucial House seat in Virginia in a competitive district in suburban Richmond. She is up against Republican David Owen, a former home builder.

The Associated Press reports:

Democrats control the Senate by a four-vote margin, and Republicans control the House of Delegates by the same margin, with four seats currently vacant. The parties are waging intense legislative battles as GOP rising national political star Gov. Glenn Youngkin looks to bolster his conservative agenda with full control of state government…
…The district chose Youngkin by a 51.2%-to-48.3% margin in 2021, but in the 2022 congressional midterm elections, the split in the district was 50% Democratic to 49.1% Republican.

Gibson and her attorney husband, John David Gibson, live-streamed sex acts on the platform with the shockingly unsubtle name “Chaturbate.” The site says that the name is a reference to “the act of masturbating while chatting online.”

Dems keepin’ it classy!

What Gibson apparently didn’t know is that the internet is forever and that the live-streamed videos were archived by Chaturbate and uploaded to other sites for all the world to see. More than a dozen live-streamed videos of Gibson and her husband were archived on the equally unsubtle site, “Recurbate.”

Although it’s unclear when the live-streams occurred, WaPo reports that two videos were archived on Sept. 30, 2022, after Gibson entered the race.

Gibson, 40, can be seen in the videos soliciting “tips” for performing specific acts — in apparent violation of Chaturbate’s terms and conditions, which say: “Requesting or demanding specific acts for tips may result in a ban from the Platform for all parties involved.”
In at least two videos, she tells viewers she is “raising money for a good cause.”
In multiple videos, Gibson interrupts sex acts to type into a bedside computer. Speaking directly into the screen, she urges viewers to provide tips, which are paid through “tokens” purchased through the site. In at least two videos, she agrees to perform certain acts only in a “private room,” an arrangement that requires the viewer to pay more.
“I need, like, more tokens before I let him do that,” she responds to a request that they perform a certain act. “One token, no. More. Raising money for a good cause.”
Almost immediately, as tips apparently arrive, she says “thank you” five times and tells her husband she will agree to that act.

According to the New York Post, Gibson and her husband had more than 5,770 followers on Chaturbate and she repeatedly asked them for “tokens” in exchange for certain acts in “private” showings.

“Yeah I f*** random strangers if you’re hot,” she said, adding “We have tried swapping. I was telling them earlier about ethical non-monogamy. We uh, he doesn’t like sharing,” she said in one video.

In a clip obtained by the Daily Mail, Gibson says, “I’ll let you f*** me in the a** doggy-style in a private room if someone wants to pay. That’s the deal.”

Gibson also said, “Y’all can watch me pee if you tip me and some tokens — again, I’m raising money for a good cause.”

It’s unclear if the “good cause” she was raising money for was her campaign.

Gibson is now very upset that these archived live-streamed sex videos are being reported in the news.

The woman who apparently solicited tokens for people to watch her urinate called the report about her degenerate live-streams “the worst gutter politics.”

In a written statement, she called the report “an illegal invasion of my privacy designed to humiliate me and my family.”

“It won’t intimidate me and it won’t silence me,” she added. “My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up.”

She’s actually trying to play the victim here after voluntarily live-streaming sex with her husband for money.

Welcome to reality where you have to face the consequences of your own actions.

Typical Democrat.

Oh, and they’re weaponizing the law to go after anyone who shares the videos that were, until quite recently, accessible by the public.

Daniel P. Watkins, a lawyer for Gibson, said disseminating the videos constitutes a violation of the state’s revenge porn law, which makes it a Class 1 misdemeanor to “maliciously” distribute nude or sexual images of another person with “intent to coerce, harass, or intimidate.”
“We are working closely with state and federal law enforcement,” Watkins said.
The Post typically does not identify victims of alleged sex crimes to protect their privacy. In this case, Gibson originally live-streamed these sexual acts on a site that was not password-protected. The couple had more than 5,700 followers there. Many of the videos remained available to the public on other unrestricted sites as of Saturday. Watkins said Gibson was not aware of, and had not authorized, the posting of Chaturbate material on other sites.
