Video of the Day: Man, Woman Attacked By Men With Guns, Told, ‘Only African Americans Are Allowed On This Road’
On Monday, The Blaze reported that 35-year-old Ty Spiceland and an unidentified woman were confronted by several people gathered in front of a burnt-out Wendy’s restaurant in Atlanta, some of them armed with handguns, and were told by the group that only African-Americans were allowed on the road they happened to be on at the time.
According to the report, Spiceland and the woman he was with were attacked with rocks and Spiceland said he was punched in the face three times. The real kicker? Spiceland said he agrees with the protesters who attacked him.
The report adds:
“Overall I absolutely agree with their side,” he said. “All I wanted to do is just roll down the window and try and reason with the guy and say, ‘Hey, we’re not going to Wendy’s, we’re just passing through, we’ll be gone in one second.’ And he just didn’t want to hear that or anything about that, he straight-up said, ‘No white people are allowed on this road.'”
“It’s scary to have someone come after you like that,” Spiceland added to the station. “We take their side. We weren’t being disrespectful in any kind of way. We were just trying to get on the interstate.”
The woman in the vehicle who didn’t want to be identified also said the group ordered them to turn around because of their skin color.
“They said, ‘You can’t go this way,'” the woman recalled in a separate video from Johnson, adding that she was told the reason was, “You’re not African American. Only African Americans are allowed on this road. You’re white, you’re a cracker, whatever word they used. You’re not allowed on this road. Turn around.”
Apparently, kneeling and groveling weren’t enough…

WSB said another man was shot in the leg outside the same Wendy’s and was taken to the hospital. Police are investigating both incidents.
