Video of the Day: Check out the New Faces GOP ad slamming socialism that triggered AOC

There’s a new ad put out by New Faces GOP that shreds socialism and features Elizabeth Heng, the daughter of Cambodian refugees.

The ad starts with a picture of Democrat Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and calls her the “face of socialism and ignorance.”  It goes from there, showing the bones of victims of the Cambodian regime.  Needless to say, it isn’t pretty.  But then again, sometimes the truth isn’t all rainbows and unicorns.

Of course, the ad triggered leftists, including AOC.

Here’s the ad:

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

“This is the face of socialism and ignorance. Does Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez know the horror of socialism?” Heng asked.  “My father was minutes from death in Cambodia before a forced marriage saved his life. That’s socialism. Forced obedience. Starvation. Mine is a face of freedom. My skin is not white. I’m not outrageous, racist or socialist. I’m a Republican,” she added.

Of course, AOC called the ad racist:

She wasn’t finished:

White supremacist?  Really?

Here’s a little bit about Heng, the person behind the ad:

My parents lived through the torment and devastation caused by the evils of socialism, and I refuse to just stand idly by as progressive socialist leaders in Congress, the mainstream media, and Silicon Valley mock our generation and destroy American principles, under the guise of “progressivism.” As a woman, a minority, and a conservative millennial, I am a fresh new face for the Republican Party and someone who will stand up to socialism in America.

Growing up in Fresno, California as the daughter of Cambodian immigrants, I never understood the power and weight of my voice – until I decided to run for Congress. After graduating from Stanford University, where I became the Student Body President, I went on to complete my MBA at Yale University, work for the U.S. Congress and open my own business.

And here’s a little bit about her group, New Faces GOP:

New Faces GOP was formed because our country is at risk of being destroyed by extreme, socialist Democrats who want to upend the American way of life. If we are going to compete on the battlefield of ideas, we must find new faces from the Republican Party stand up to lead.

We need candidates from all races, ethnicities, genders, and geographies. Our party has the ideas and solutions to fight back extremism and it is our goal to equip new leaders with the tools they need to win.

The Democrats’ message is weak at best, and downright laughable at worst – but they have dynamic, young messengers who relate to the next generation of voters.

Heng responded to AOC:

Twitchy tells us AOC didn’t respond to her.  Why aren’t we surprised.
