Video: Marine veteran confronts Bill Clinton over Benghazi, gets tossed out by sheriff’s deputies
While speaking at a campaign rally in Bluffton, South Carolina, former President Bill Clinton was confronted by a Marine veteran who asked about the VA and Hillary’s role in Benghazi.
“What do you think should be done with the VA?” Clinton shot back.
“The thing is, we had four lives in Benghazi killed and your wife tried to cover it up,” the Marine said, eliciting boos and jeers from the audience. He continued speaking, even as the audience demanded he shut up and sit down.
“Are you going to let me answer?” Clinton asked. “This is America. I get to answer,” he said. “You listen to me. I heard you,” Clinton snapped.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
“I heard your speech. They heard your speech. You listen to me now,” he added, his voice cracking.
“Am I allowed to answer? I’m not your commander in chief anymore but if I were, I’d tell you to be more polite and sit down,” Clinton said.
“I wouldn’t listen!”the Marine shouted.
“Do you have the courage to listen to my answer? Don’t throw him out,” Clinton added as sheriff’s deputies escorted the Marine out of the gymnasium. “Shut up and listen to my answer. I’ll answer it.”
Clinton continued, attacking the Marine after he had been removed from the venue.
“Can I just saying something? That’s what’s wrong: his mind has been poisoned by lies and he won’t listen,” the former president said.
A woman then confronted Clinton and continued to speak about Benghazi. She, too, was removed by deputies.
