While speaking at a rally in Richmond, Virginia, GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump minced no words when he called Democrat Bernie Sanders a “maniac.”
He wasn’t finished, however, and referred to him as a “socialist slash Communist” set to “give” everything to everyone while taking everything away from everyone. As you can see in the video below, the crowd loved it.
“I watched Hillary last night with, ‘We’re gonna give this. We’re gonna give this,'” he said. “The poor woman — she’s got to give everything away because this maniac that was standing on her right is giving everything away so she’s following. That’s what’s happening. This Socialist slash Communist. OK. Nobody wants to say it.”
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Sanders, for those who may not be aware of it, is an avowed socialist. Clinton is also a socialist and often presents Marxist ideology, but refuses to admit what she really is.
Some five thousand people showed up at the rally, along with some Black Lives Matter protesters:
