Oftentimes, the expressions, “crazy is as crazy does“….”insanity knows no bounds” etc., are used tongue-in-cheek. On the other hand, time and again, when a leadership places its citizens in existential peril, trust, its meaning, yes, knock-on effects, can only be construed as: MADNESS! Deadly. Perverse.
Whereas there are a laundry list of actions – or, inactions, for that matter – taken by Israel’s current crop (yesteryear’s, alike) of leaders that defy rational thinking, a prime exhibit is illustrated below.
Even so (and going back many years, too), specifically, July 2007, this writer analyzed the above MADNESS via the below.
Granted, a portion of the top-tier – those who persist in said dangerous behavior – are not lunatics. To the contrary. They know precisely that their policies will gravely imperil national security, however, they have other interests, that is, in direct opposition to securing the nation. Rather, many of them became the “architects” of Oct. 7, 2023, the massacre of all massacres!

Hamas military leader Ahmed Jabari was quoted in the pan-Arab newspaper Al-Hayat as confirming that the prisoners released under the deal were collectively responsible for the killing of 569 Israelis.[7][8] ………….

Israel is considering the release of 120 Gazan terrorists who were captured during the war, in order to make room in Israeli prisons for 120 Nukhba terrorists who are being held in the correctional facility in Sde Teiman.
According to Channel 13 News, in a secret meeting that took place in the last few days, the National Security Council (NSC) in the Prime Minister’s Office asked the IDF, the Shin Bet and the Prison Services to compile a list of 120 Gazan terrorists who participated in the looting on October 7th, and to release them in order to provide a more “appropriate” place for 120 Nukhba terrorists.
The attempt to free up space in the prisons follows a petition submitted to the High Court against the conditions of incarceration at the facility in Sde Teiman, and as a result, the head of the NSC, Tzachi Hanegbi, took it upon himself to evacuate all prisoners from the facility.
Following the report, Minister of National Security Itamar Ben Gvir demanded that the Prime Minister bring the NSC’s request to a cabinet discussion that is being held this evening in Tel Aviv.
The chairman of the right-wing National Unity party, Gideon Sa’ar, said that “with this government, every time you think you’ve seen it all – it turns out you haven’t seen everything yet. This is a government that fails even in the simple task of creating emergency prisons and is forced to release administrative prisoners, cancel arrests and consider releasing terrorists. This is a government without any ability to manage and execute situations. This is a government with two left hands.”

Yesha Council Chairman and Binyamin Region Governor Israel Gantz sent a letter to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, and other cabinet ministers, detailing the dangers of the Palestinian Authority’s construction plans in Area B.
According to him, the plan is the Palestinian Authority’s takeover of the British Police Junction area in Benjamin, by strangling the surrounding area with massive construction that will change the face of the settlement.
“They are acting strategically and calculatedly to enclose the settlements, control major roads and ways, and create significant Arab continuity,” noted Gantz in his letter, adding that “the council continuously warns and highlights the issue to enforcement agencies in the IDF and the Civil Administration. These days we are exposed to a large and dangerous plan that is already in advanced stages, under which large residential and infrastructure projects are being built on ridges controlling the connection of Highway 60 and Highway 465. This is a major traffic artery connecting East Judea and Samaria (in Binyamin) to West Judea and Samaria.”

One has to wonder, ponder, if you will: A nation that is the most technologically advanced in the civilized world – or, what’s left of it – believes rational folks (even average high schoolers) will accept that they can’t construct hardened prisons in warp speed, of course, knowing full well that captured terrorists will require said “accommodations!” In a pig’s eye. Ditto, that they are deaf, dumb, and blind towards the continuous/contiguous {emphasis placed}, unrestrained Arab construction in Judea & Samaria, the heartland of the Jewish people, ongoing for years on end!!
Inexorably, the miracle will be whether Israel’s people survive their derelict leaders, as opposed to Islamic barbarians surrounding them from all sides!
