Two tweets by Dem. Sen. Chris Murphy prove FBI probe is pointless, won’t appease anti-Kavanaugh forces

Two tweets by Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., prove without a shadow of a doubt that an FBI probe of 36-year-old sexual assault allegations against Judge Brett Kavanaugh will do nothing to appease those who oppose his nomination to the Supreme Court.

Stephen Miller posted two tweets showing Murphy’s position before and after spineless Republicans agreed to a week-long FBI investigation:

“Yes, of course there should be an FBI investigation. But whatever they find doesn’t change the fact that Kavanaugh, especially after his performance yesterday, is the most dangerous Supreme Court pick of our lifetime,” Murphy said, proving that nothing the FBI says will make any difference whatsoever.

Indeed.  Moreover, Murphy proved that Democrats don’t care about the truth, nor do they care about the rule of law.

As Faye Higbee notes here, the Constitution “has been trashed – the rule of law no longer applies, and due process is dead.”  Thanks, Democrats — this one’s on you.

And it doesn’t matter what happens, despicable Democrats will find other excuses to delay Kavanaugh’s confirmation.  And spineless, wimpy Republicans like the appropriately-named Jeff Flake will go along, falsely thinking the media will warm up to them.

Democrats, “honorable?”  Seriously?

Higbee perfectly summed up the entire mess this way:  “But above and beyond the lies and the terrible destruction of a good man’s career, this whole thing is simply rooted in hate for the President.”
