During an interview on David Plouffe’s Campaign HQ podcast, Hillary Clinton, the most evil and perhaps the most corrupt person ever nominated to the White House by a major party in the history of the Republic, accused fellow Democrat Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian asset and a “favorite of the Russians.”
“I’m not making any predictions but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said, referring to Gabbard. “She’s the favorite of the Russians.”

Clinton wasn’t the only one who smeared Gabbard as a Russian asset. Writing at Breitbart, Joel Pollack noted:
Earlier on Friday, Clinton suggested that Gabbard was being “groomed” by Russia as a potential third-party candidate. Appearing on a podcast hosted by former Barack Obama campaign manager David Plouffe, Clinton called Gabbard “the favorite of the Russians.”
Last weekend, the New York Times made similar accusations against Gabbard, without any evidence, calling her “a potentially useful vector for Russian efforts to sow division within the Democratic Party.”
This didn’t sit too well with Gabbard, who responded sharply, calling Clinton “the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long,” on Twitter. She also accused Clinton of being behind the Times’ smear.

You, the queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long, have finally come out from behind the curtain. From the day I announced my candidacy, there has been a concerted campaign to destroy my reputation. We wondered who was behind it and why. Now we know — it was always you, through your proxies and powerful allies in the corporate media and war machine, afraid of the threat I pose,” she said.
“It’s now clear that this primary is between you and me. Don’t cowardly hide behind your proxies. Join the race directly,” she added, challenging Clinton.

Gabbard addressed the smear during an interview with Tucker Carlson:
“I stand against everything she represents,” Gabbard said of Clinton, telling Carlson that Clinton knows she cannot control or manipulate her. She also said Clinton attacked her “because I am and have long been calling for an end to our country’s foreign policy of waging one regime change war after the next… and because I’m calling for an end to this new Cold War and nuclear arms race.”
