As we reported early this morning, Donald Trump was disinvited from RedState2015 for a comment he made regarding Megyn Kelly. “You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes. Blood coming out of her wherever,” he told CNN’s Don Lemon.
Early Saturday, he issued a tweet explaining what he meant:

Naturally, some didn’t believe him.
The Trump campaign issued a statement, taking detractors to task. The campaign also took a swipe at Erick Erickson, the head of RedState.
