Sometimes, the Democrat party is so sad that they end up as good material for a joke.
The following joke is such a scenario. It’s accurate all the way through until you hit the very last few words, where the realization is that the anger fueling the Democrat party these days is dead on.
Indeed, the highly emotional party ranges from anxiety, to sadness and tears, and in this case … anger.
And anger is at an all-time level in the era of President Trump.

To use a phrase from George Takei’s character, Sulu, “Oh my!”
It’s certainly true that Democrats have proven to be “an illogical group of self-absorbed, undereducated freeloaders who think everyone else should think like them.”
But it’s that last line that reveals the entire source of anger motivating the left. It’s also an important lesson in reality.
While Democrats want you to think Republicans are the party of racism and Jim Crow, as Hillary Clinton recently did in saying the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court would set us back to the days of slavery, it’s actually quite the other way around.
“I used to worry that [the GOP] wanted to turn the clock back to the 1950s,” Clinton said, “Now I worry they want to turn it back to the 1850s.”
That would be just prior to the abolition of slavery with the passage of the 13th Amendment to the Constitution in 1865.
The reality, however, is that it was the Republicans who were fighting to end slavery in America, while the Democrats fought to preserve it.

Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr., unbelievably, once revealed in an interview for the book “Bamboozled” that, “There is no doubt that the Democratic Party is the party of the Confederacy, historically, that the Democratic Party’s flag is the Confederate flag.”
“Secessionists in the South saw themselves as Democrats and were Democrats,” Jackson added. “That so much of the Democratic Party’s history, since it is our nation’s oldest political party, has its roots in slavery.”
And they haven’t been this angry since Lincoln freed the slaves.
Well, that and the fact that they can’t raise your taxes, can’t regulate your lives and businesses into submission, can’t open the country’s borders, and can no longer coddle terrorists so they can succeed in destroying our country.
Whatever the cause, they’re certainly an angry bunch these days.
