Have you ever tried to pull up mangrove roots? Swamp roots are extremely difficult to pull out, not because they are deep, but because they grow laterally and connect up with other roots. It becomes a literal host of interconnected root systems that make it a removal nightmare. Such are the swamp roots in Washington DC. And nowhere is the problem more evident in the fight to obtain one document from the FBI that shows an alleged bribery scandal that may involve then VP Joe Biden.
FBI Director Christopher Wray refused to comply with a subpoena for the FBI document, saying only that he would let Rep James Comer “look at it” in FBI headquarters. Of course, that won’t work because then the FBI could claim that anything Rep Comer or his team saw wasn’t what they saw. It needs to be released to the full House Committee. The FD-1023 in question is NOT a classified document. Whistleblowers revealed the existence of it.
The subpoena gave Wray until May 30 to produce the document- a deadline he failed to meet. He now sits under threat of Contempt of Congress- a charge that generally goes nowhere in the Swamp Roots of DC. People have been “charged” with that for years on both sides of the aisle and nothing has happened to them worthy of a criminal offence. It’s because the collusion, pressure, and interconnectedness of DC swamp dwellers is off the charts. If they hate you, you are toast. Otherwise, they’ll protect the guilty until hell freezes over, regardless of how egregious the situation. And so, they fiercely protect our husk of a president no matter what.
As for the FD-1023, the only thing Wray did was acknowledge that the document file exists.

“Today, FBI Director Wray confirmed the existence of the FD-1023 form alleging then-Vice President Biden engaged in a criminal bribery scheme with a foreign national,” Comer said in a statement. “However, Director Wray did not commit to producing the documents subpoenaed by the House Oversight Committee.”
“While Director Wray – after a month of refusing to even acknowledge that the form existed – has offered to allow us to see the documents in person at FBI headquarters, we have been clear that anything short of producing these documents to the House Oversight Committee is not in compliance with the subpoena,” Comer continued. “If the FBI fails to hand over the FD-1023 form as required by the subpoena, the House Oversight Committee will begin contempt of Congress proceedings.” Breitbart
It’s a giant-sized fight to chop up and remove one tiny section of Swamp Roots in DC: one document file from the FBI that may implicate Joe Biden in wrong-doing. Good luck, GOP.
