Silicon Valley Axis of Evil: Big Tech Fascists Silence Economist Who Said Biden’s Economy Is In Recession

If you thought Big Tech might be pulling back on their partisan political interference now that their political interference in 2020 and the COVID file is public knowledge, you’d be wrong.

Facebook has been caught being Biden’s defacto censorship bureau, calling anything harmful to their administration ‘misinformation’ or silencing it outright. But if anything they have become more brazen, not less.

Now the left’s media enablers have been closing ranks on the question of how we recession. This is important, because there is an election in November, and if the public believes there is a recession, that’s going to reflect badly on the leadership of Herr Biden. Joe’s government is on shaky footing as it is, and acknowledgment of the obvious economic decline could portend the worst of all disasters in the imagination of the media: the return of Republican control to Congress.

It’s bad enough that Wikipedia and the dictionaries are carrying water for the left, altering definitions of words as needed to suit the left’s political purposes. The definition of ‘Recession’ is only the latest in a long line of examples.

Now Facebook is ‘fact-checking’ actual economists for using a definition that everyone — left and right — used right up until the moment that definition became politically inconvenient to the elected Democrat currently serving in high office.
Two consecutive quarters of negative growth is the standard definition of a recession, and Phillip Magness, the research and education director at the American Institute for Economic Research, posted on Facebook a commentary about the country now being in a recession.
The post – which is no longer visible – was marked by Facebook’s fact checkers as being misleading.

There’s even a pending one-page bill in the Senate on this question.

identified by the National Bureau of Economic Research have
consisted of 2 negative quarters of gross domestic product

have been 2 or more such quarters, a recession was officially
declared;
Whereas use of the historic definition of a recession by
the Federal Government has been important for purposes of
economic study and analysis, historic comparisons, and policy
making: Now, therefore, be it
Resolved, That it is the sense of the Senate that the
Federal Government should continue to use the historic
definition of a recession.

But fake fact-checkers are shutting down the use of any language that might (further) harm poor Joe’s credibility as President, or Democrat chances in November midterms.

Tell us again how Democrats are the great defenders of our ‘democratic process’?

If Big Tech were helping Republicans the way they are helping Democrats, does a single soul doubt for a moment the left would burn Silicon Valley to the ground and salt the ground where it stands?
