Republicans are calling for Biden’s weaponized Department of so-called “Justice” to arrest and jail Democrat Jamaal Bowman after he illegally set off a fire alarm in what is being seen as an effort to disrupt official proceedings surrounding the vote to stave off a government shutdown on Saturday.
This is the photo being circulated by Capitol Police of Bowman deliberately setting off the alarm:

This, by the way, is a crime in the District of Columbia punishable by a fine and/or a six month prison sentence:

Despite the alarm being clearly marked, Bowman claimed he thought the alarm would open the door:

And of course, he “regrets” his actions:

But, Breitbart said, the door was clearly marked, as was the alarm. Photos showed he removed the signs from the door:
The sources familiar with the investigation provided Breitbart News with photographs of the scene of the alleged crime later after the emergency door had been restored after the damage Bowman did to it.

Republicans have drafted a resolution for Bowman’s expulsion from the House:

But some, like Rep. Jim Banks, is calling for Bowman to be arrested:

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene called for the DOJ to arrest and prosecute Bowman the way they’re prosecuting the January 6 political prisoners:

Rep. Bowman clearly violated numerous laws including 1512(c)(2) obstruction of an official proceeding. At least 320 Jan 6 defendants including Donald Trump have been charged with this felony count.

Breitbart added:
Many of the defendants from Jan. 6 were charged for similar conduct, as pointed out by the mainstream media and Donald Trump Jr., who called for Bowman’s immediate arrest.
