On Thursday, the sham partisan January 6 committee is reportedly set to vote on a subpoena against former President Donald Trump, NBC News and others reported, calling the Capitol riot an “insurrection,” despite the fact that the “insurrection” narrative created by Democrats and their willing propagandists has been proven false.

NBC reported that members of Congress acknowledged it was unlikely Trump would comply, making the move nothing more than kabuki theater designed to inflame the liberal base right before the midterm elections.
The report adds:
Still, subpoenaing the former president had been under consideration for a while and has been an active topic of discussion for committee members. On his way into the hearing, Chairman Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., told reporters the panel had not yet ruled out a subpoena for Trump. He said at the start of the hearing that the committee would take a vote “based on new evidence.”
The committee declined to comment on the expected vote. If and when it votes to subpoena Trump today, that subpoena will expire at the end of this congressional term.
In its wide-ranging investigation, the panel has already conducted more than 1,000 interviews and depositions. It has also received hundreds of thousands of documents and there are 100 subpoenas that were publicly known to be issued.
Note the line: “If and when it votes to subpoena Trump today, that subpoena will expire at the end of this congressional term.” That makes this whole exercise a waste of time, especially as Americans don’t care about a riot that took place nearly two years ago.

As Cristina Laila wrote at the Gateway Pundit: “The number one issue for Americans is crushing inflation caused by Joe Biden’s tax-and-spend policies.”
Bingo. Americans are worried about economic issues and the ongoing effort to strip Americans of their freedoms. They do not care about the January 6 riot.
Update: At 3:32 pm Eastern Time Thursday, the sham committee voted unanimously to subpoena the former President. The motion was brought forward by fake Republican Liz Cheney, who was soundly defeated in her primary. More to come. Stay tuned…
