Rasmussen: A Majority Of Voters Want Biden Impeached

It’s now a MAJORITY of voters, including one-third of the nation’s Democrats, who are waiting for Joe Biden to be impeached.

Paul Bedard at the Washington Examiner cited a new Rasmussen Reports assessment that found voters “by a margin of 52%-42% support impeachment.”

Those numbers include 77% of Republicans, 50% of independents and even 32% of Democrats, he reported.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Rasmussen said the telephone and online survey contacted 1,000 U.S. likely loters August 31-September 1.

The report said 38% of voters “strongly support” impeachment, while of the 42% opposed, 30% strongly oppose it.

Bedard continued, “In a related question about Republican promises to make good on impeachment threats, expectations for action are down on the chances the GOP will follow through.”

He explained Rasmussen found 47% say it is likely Republicans in the House will vote to impeach but 43% don’t.

“Support for impeaching Biden is highest among voters 40-64, who are also most likely to think that if Republicans win in the midterms, they actually will impeach the president,” the Rasmussen group told Bedard’s Washington Secrets column.

Democrats, led by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, launched two failed impeach-and-remove attempts against President Donald Trump. They were based on allegations his telephone call with a Ukrainian leader was improper, even though the subject matter there, Biden family involvement with corruption, was in evidence, and President Trump’s alleged involvement in those who rioted at the Capitol in 2021.

Neither effort came close to removing him from office, but many supporters of President Trump say Pelosi’s partisan committee “investigating” the Capitol riot, which is accepting evidence only if it is negative about Trump, and disregarding concerns about congressional failures on that day, is a third “impeach” campaign against Trump.
