FULL DISCLOSURE: As a native New Yorker, coupled with possessing a bird’s-eye, front-row seat to major policy decisions via political players hooked-in to the goings-on (for the most part, ala The City Council’s “horse-trading”; the radical left activism inside the Criminal and Civil Court Systems, in tandem with the changing of the guard within the NYPD’s top hierarchy), and even though living in Israel, since 2008, the aforementioned hook-ins are still in place. Indeed, while musical chairs are par for the course when administrations change hands, those who really know what’s what remain in place. Enough said.
IT is under this dangerous paradigm that a shift is taking place among New York voters (overall, a blue state aligned with the DemonRats), in so far that even life-long, reflexive “D” column voters recognize what the Demon-Rats have wrought upon them — abject terror and chaos by marauding criminals and hordes of illegal aliens!
MAKE no mistake: within all spheres of living, that is, from riding the subways; entering every venue imaginable; being accosted on the streets via the infiltration and penetration of many thousands of illegals spread throughout the boroughs; eating up taxpayer-funded resources within the educational system, and so on and so forth. Though many are too terrified to voice their angst, indubitably, they lay the blame at the DemonRat’s doors!
BUT what does the above have to do with Guv Hochul and her ILLEGAL/DRACONIAN/DICTATORIAL power-grab? Everything.
IN a nutshell, the sheeple-like citizens (whatever their political affiliation) of covid-era lock-downs, currently, are few and far between. Most have woken up to the disaster created by said power-grabs and will fight the upcoming ones (never mind this or that “law”), tooth and nail. Yes, Times-are-a-changin’, as more and more lies have been exposed! Happening Now: The New York Appellate Division has ruled in favor of Governor Kathy Hochul in a landmark case for government overreach. Rule 2.13: “Isolation and Quarantine Procedures” will give the state of New York the ability to come in your home and take you away to quarantine without any notice and for any virus or infection they deem necessary. You won’t have any option to fight it. No court date. Nothing. The rule has no age limit and they can keep you as long as they’d like. The rule also allows them to treat you as they see fit, including using methods that are still in testing. This is one of the biggest abuses of power this country has ever seen. This is only the beginning. How long until this is nationwide, or even global?
