Suspicious packages were sent to the White House, Time Warner Center in New York which houses the CNN network, as well as Clinton and Obama. The devices were similar to the one left at George Soros’ mailbox, and were intercepted by the Secret Service.
Update: AP tweeted that reports about a package sent to the White House were “not correct.”

 “Potential explosive devices”
“The packages were immediately identified during routine mail screening procedures as potential explosive devices and were appropriately handled as such. The protectees did not receive the packages nor were they at risk of receiving them…The Secret Service has initiated a full scope criminal investigation that will leverage all available federal, state, and local resources to determine the source of the packages and identify those responsible.” Secret Service statement
A law enforcement official described the devices as “rudimentary but functional.”
The package addressed to Barack Obama was intercepted by agency personnel in Washington DC Wednesday morning.
The package addressed to Bill and Hillary Clinton, also described as a “potential explosive device,” and was intercepted on Tuesday. Clinton’s Chappaqua residence is approximately 9 miles from Soros’ home.

Questions
Is this a major distraction? There are some questions about this scenario. The devices are “rudimentary”so it’s an inexperienced bomb maker? They’re “functional” but so far none of them have gone off. The Soros employee opened the package, saw that it was a possible pipe bomb, and CARRIED IT OUT TO THE WOODS. Who does that?
Is the creator of this mess mentally ill or is it someone that is trying to make it LOOK like a right wing nutbird? Anarchists? Let’s just keep in mind that midterms are only a few days away, and Democrats will do anything they can to win. And sincerely don’t forget the two migrant caravans headed for the US.
