On Monday, CBS Philly reported that two homes near the residence of Sen. [score]Pat Toomey[/score], R-Pa., were hit with anti-GOP graffiti that also included an attack on Christians and referenced Nazis.

According to CBS Philly:

Pennsylvania State Police say they are investigating after suspects used spray paint to deface the side of two homes near the home of Toomey, over the weekend.

Messages expressing opposition to Toomey and to the Republican party were written on the homes. The messages included “Nazi, Slavers, Rapists, Cross Worshippers = GOP,” “#Americans Against The Republican Party,” and “Look Out Toomey And You Neo Nazi Republicans.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Now, we don’t want to be accused of pointing a finger until all the facts are in, but it certainly looks as though this is work of — wait for it — unhinged liberals, no doubt showing the world just how tolerant they really are of other points of view.

Now, we could be wrong.  It could be the work of those pesky middle-of-the-roaders or people wanting to paint liberals in a bad light.

It’s highly unlikely, however, given the way liberals have acted this election season.

“I am sickened by this disgusting, politically-inspired hatred. It has no place in a civilized society. My neighbors are wonderful people who deserve much better. I hope the cowardly criminals who did this are apprehended and punished,” Toomey said in a statement from his campaign.

“That was really, really appalling,” he said after a debate Monday. “There’s no place for any kind of vandalism. There’s no place for that kind of language. I was obviously extremely distressed and disappointed that our neighbors and friends would be subjected to something like that. Absolutely disgusting.”

In February 2011, I first said that liberalism, at its core, is an ideology of rage and hate.  Sadly, leftists prove that assertion correct on just about any given day.
