It is interesting the lengths that Democrats will go to rewrite history or just go out of their way to attack Republicans. This was recently shown when Democrat Representative Pramila Jayapal (WA 7) filed charges in the House Committee on Ethics because Republican Representative Paul Gosar (AZ 4) protested the results of the 2020 election. She said this was one of the causes of the people entering the Capitol building and the members of Congress being herded out of the building. She seems to not want people to remember that she protested the election of President Trump in 2017 and Republicans did not file ethics complaints about her.
Who is Jayapal
Most people outside of Seattle may not be aware of who Representative Jayapal is. She was born in India and is the first member of the House to be of that ethnicity. Before she was elected, she was a civil rights advocate for immigrants, both legal and illegal. She was one of the many Democrats who protested the election of Donald Trump and staged a sit-in protest at the Hart Senate Office Building over Trump’s zero-tolerance policy for illegal immigrants.
She was also part of the advisory committee that brought about the $15 minimum wage in Seattle and she holds a number of very radical views.

Who is Gosar
Paul Gosar is a former dentist that has family members that have been involved in the Republican Party for decades. He was elected as a TEA Party candidate in 2010 and was a Trump supporter. He scares the Democrats so much that they lie when they can about him and filled his Wiki page with DNC propaganda. In his time in office, he tried to get President Obama to strip the Presidential Medal of Freedom from Bill Cosby, which Obama refused to do. He is a staunch defender of freedom, such as the Second Amendment and eliminating fraud in the government.
The Charges
Jayapal decided to file an ethics complaint because she decided that protesting the election of Biden was too much for her. Never mind that she protested the election of President Trump. The Committee on Ethics has reviewed the complaint and decided against pursuing it. In his rebuttal before the decision, Gosar pointed out that he had consulted experts that found that there was a three percent discrepancy in the state of Arizona and that Biden won by half a percentage point. He also pointed out that several Democrats have claimed that there have been problems with voting in the past.
This is the way of the Democrats. They are working to weaken Republicans who are willing to fight for the truth, even by smearing people and making false claims. This is allowed because the GOP leadership in Congress caves to the Democrat Party in most matters instead of fighting for their party.
It’s time for Republicans to grow a backbone and fight back against radicals like Jayapal.
