Parkland activist Emma Gonzalez: ‘Go serve your f*****g country’ if you want to shoot a ‘weapon’

While participating in the Education Writers Association’s Education Week forum on Thursday, Parkland anti-gun activist Emma Gonzalez once again advocated gun confiscation and said those who want to shoot a weapon should join the Army.
“It’s just cheaper to take away the guns that aren’t imperative to living in America. You don’t need an AR-15 to protect yourself in bed from a robber at night. You don’t need an AR-15 to have fun at a shooting range,” she said.
“Go join the Army if you want to have fun shooting off a weapon. And serve your f*****g country. Excuse my language,” Gonzalez added to applause and laughter.
Here’s video, tweeted by Caleb Hull, senior editor of the Independent Journal Review:
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Parkland gun control activist @Emma4Change says "go serve your fucking country" if you want to shoot a "weapon."

That settles it, especially since she dropped the f-bomb, right?
Hardly. And quite a few responded to her profane demand.
Hull responded:
The great part about America is that these people can’t tell me what I can and can’t protect myself with.
AR-15s save lives every day.

I have to concur. In the ten years I served in the Marine Corps, I was never once issued an AR-15.
It's not the Bill of Needs, and anyway Rosa Parks didn't need to sit in the front of the bus, and no one needs a cake for their wedding.

I did serve my country. I put on a uniform and boots and I carried what she would call an "assault rifle." I did it so that neither she nor anyone else could tell any American citizen what they do or do not need. https://t.co/NOp8X8flS4

Besides, as Twitchy and others pointed out, it’s not the “Bill of Needs,” it’s the “Bill of Rights,” designed specifically to protect us from the likes of her and her fellow demagogues.
Twitchy added:
“You don’t need…” are three words which have launched countless arguments, but in a free country, it’s really not up to the government or a bunch of teenagers to determine what people “need” let alone what they just plain want.
One person offered another suggestion to Gonzalez:
The great thing about America and the constitution is that you dont make that decision for me. I do. Maybe @Emma4Change and @davidhogg111 should think about serving their "f-ing country". It might do them some good. https://t.co/fOy4fgUiB9
