Joe Biden can’t seem to drag himself out of the opinion poll quagmire he’s been stuck in for months, as revealed in the latest Rasmussen survey that finds the Delaware Democrat with only 34 percent of likely voters rating him good or excellent for his handling of national security issues.

That’s down four points from an August 2021 survey that put his performance at 38 percent.

The new poll results show a full 50 percent of likely voters getting a poor rating “rating for his handling of national security, up from 48% in August.”

According to Rasmussen’s new survey, “Voters rate Biden even worse on the economy, with just 32% rating him excellent or good for his handling of economic issues, while 55% give him a poor rating. That continues the president’s declining approval from October, when 51% of voters rated him poor on economic issues.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The president remains in big trouble on the Daily Presidential Tracking Poll. Rasmussen said Wednesday the poll finds only 19 percent of likely voters “strongly approve” of Biden’s job performance, but 48 percent “strongly disapprove” of how he is handling the job.

Overall, a whopping 58 percent disapprove of Biden’s job performance, a fact the establishment media seems to be ignoring.

Rasmussen’s main survey results show only 32 percent “rating him excellent or good for his handling of economic issues, while 55% give him a poor rating.”

While the establishment media is ignoring the situation, Rasmussen went back and found these numbers:

“Former President Donald Trump’s lowest ratings for his handling of both the economy (44% poor) and national security (47% poor) were in July 2017.  Former President Barack Obama’s worst rating on the economy was 51% poor in August 2011 while Obama’s lowest rating on national security was 47% poor in January 2016.”

Long story short, according to Rasmussen, “Biden’s economic and national security ratings are worse than the lowest ratings of either of his two immediate predecessors.”

“With Biden’s overall job approval ratings now stuck in the low 40s,” Rasmussen reported Wednesday, “the decline has impacted his approval on other specific issues, including crime and immigration.”

The survey of 1,000 U.S. Likely Voters was conducted Dec. 29-30, 2021 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence, the veteran polling agency said.
