New US Policy: Jerusalem is the True Capital of Israel

At 1 p.m. Eastern on December 6, President Trump announced that Jerusalem is the capital of Israel, and also announced that the US Embassy will move there. Currently, the US Embassy is in Tel Aviv. The US Consulate General in Jerusalem issued a travel warning to all US citizens because of the threat of demonstrations during retaliatory “Days of Rage” by Hamas beginning Friday.

France and Germany has also warned their citizens about the upcoming potential for violence after President Trump’s announcement, according to the Middle East Monitor.
Government officials were warned against travel to the Old City in Jerusalem and the West Bank. “Official travel by U.S. government employees in Jerusalem’s Old City and in the West Bank is permitted only to conduct essential travel and with additional security measures.” USCG statement
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
Following previous precedent
The President announced the change in US policy that says Jerusalem, not Tel Aviv, is Israel’s true capital city. The Hill reported that he will delay moving the US Embassy, but his statement only mentioned that he has ordered the State Department to begin gathering architects. Whether it’s 6 months down the road or sooner, he plans to have a building that is a testament to “peace.”
Jerusalem was voted as the capital of Israel in 1995 with the Jerusalem Embassy Act by the US Congress. But no President has ever moved on that mandate. Were they afraid of the Palestinians? Likely. It was a placating move that has not made one difference in the peace process, and according to the President, not moving the embassy has “brought us no closer to a lasting peace.” Therefore, he’s moving it- a campaign promise fulfilled.
Israel’s Parliament (the Knesset) is in the city. Israel’s Supreme Court is in the city. Their government revolves around the city so it is fitting that the US be there as well.
Muslims are infuriated with the President’s declaration
“Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine. Its religious, historic and civilizational status is fundamental to the Arabs, Muslims and the world at large. Its Islamic and Christian holy places belong exclusively to the Palestinian people and to the Arab and Islamic Ummah.”
“Not one stone of Jerusalem can be surrendered or relinquished. The measures undertaken by the occupiers in Jerusalem, such as Judaization, settlement building, and establishing facts on the ground are fundamentally null and void.” Hamas charter

Hamas claims all Israeli territory as Muslim. They want Israel destroyed as a nation and as a people. They HATE Jews and Christians. From Jerusalem to Bethlehem to all of the holy sites of Christians and Jews, they claim all are Muslim, which is historically inaccurate.
They have pushed and skewed the facts for a long time, even brainwashing the United Nations into calling Israel “occupiers” and causing UN votes to go against the small nation. They have lied against all archeological evidence to the contrary of their claims, deceiving the United Nations and liberals.
Arabs don’t like to share. They will have temper tantrums. Be alert.
